PRODUCT

What are your frames made out of?

Our frames are made from the following materials: acetate, carbon fibre, titanium, wood and buffalo/sheep horn. Please see the ‘Choose Your Material’ section under the Custom Design tab for more information about the characteristics of each material.

Can I order frames without lenses?

Yes, it is possible to order just the frames.

How long does it take to receive my new frames?

We do our best to get your order processed as swiftly as possible. If your desired frame is already available in stock, it takes only a few days for the lens to be prepared. However, if your frame is not in stock, it takes about 2-4 weeks to handcraft your eyeglasses. We will keep you updated and contact you as soon as your new frames are ready.

I'm interested in the glasses that change to sunglasses when you go outside. Can you tell me more about them?

Photochromic, or transition, lenses contain a special dye that becomes activated when exposed to UV light, causing the lens to change from clear to black. The level of tint will automatically adjust according to the light conditions. These lenses are a great option for those who dislike switching back and forth between multiple lenses.

FEES & PAYMENT

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payments through numerous methods including debit cards, cash (any currency), direct billing, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCP), and WeChatPay.

Do you do direct billing to my insurance?

Yes, we currently do direct billing with Pacific Blue Cross, SSQ Financial Group and Green Shield Canada.

PRESCRIPTION

Do I need to have my own prescription?

If you already have a recent prescription, we can use that for ordering your new lenses. However, if you do not have a prescription or need to have it updated, there is no need to worry. Our optometrists have over 20 years of experience, and will provide you with a reliable vision screening.

Do you offer eye exams?

No, we strictly offer vision exams (ie. sight tests) which determine the refractive power required for your corrective lenses. Please note that we do not provide any diagnoses related to ocular health concerns or eye diseases.

How long does it take to complete a vision exam?

Sight tests take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. If you would like to book a vision exam, please contact us in advance to book an appointment.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

What is your return policy?

We do not accept any returns. However, each frame comes with a lifetime warranty, as we stand behind the quality of our products. If you feel that your frame requires repairs (e.g. polishing, tightening, lost parts), please visit us during store hours and we will fix your frames for you.
